About Us

The WEBER RANCH HEADQUARTERS is located a mile north of VALENTINE, NE, just off Hwy 83, and the balance of the ranch is within 10 miles of town in 3 directions. Their feedlot is 2 miles from the South Dakota border, also along Hwy 83.

The Weber family has been raising horses for many years and are now proud to be AQHA RANCHING HERITAGE BREEDERS. Both Rick and Missy were raised around horses. Rick was raised on a farm and ranch operation near Ericson, NE, and spent many years in Colorado putting on rodeos with Bill Milnes Rodeo Company, eventually becoming a partner in the business. He has been awarded Pickup Man Of The Year in Colorado and Nebraska several times. Missy was raised at Isabel, SD, and started breeding and selling horses in high school. She didn’t crave rodeo competition, but crossing pedigrees was her passion, as it is today.

The Weber’s raise Black Angus and Hereford cattle. Rick specializes in selling premium AI’d heifers, often sorting them up to four times. What he doesn’t feel is heifer quality, is spayed and grassed. They also own and operate WEBER & COMPANY REAL ESTATE, YOUNG’S WESTERN WEARHOUSE, WEBER LIVESTOCK TRUCKING, LLC, WEBER ENTERPRISES, INC. in addition to WEBER QUARTER HORSES, LLC.

The Weber’s stand their stallions to the public, with a choice of 6 stallions. They can live cover, pasture breed, or ship semen on most of their studs.

Their oldest son Brian, his wife Sarah, and their daughters Addi and Nova, live in Hutchinson, KS. Brian is a cardiac sonographer in Hutchinson, KS, and owns and operates Mobile Cardiac Care, LLC. His passion is playing basketball, weight lifting, and health and fitness. Sarah is a therapist and has her own private practice. Their daughter Addi was born in 2017 and they welcomed another daughter Nova in 2020. They are the joy of their grandparents!

Reece is the youngest of the Weber boys and lives at the ranch southwest of Valentine. He is Co-Owner of Young’s Western Wear along with his parents (ad below), has cattle of his own, helps at the ranch when needed, competes in PRCA and ammy rodeos as a header, sometimes a heeler, occasionally enters the calf roping and is also on the fire department.
